By supporting local business, environmental initiatives, non-profits, and using thoughtful practices within our company, we strive to create beautiful events, cultivate meaningful relationships, and make a positive impact on our world.
Our Team
Gina Malefyt - Owner/Lead Planner
Gina started Organically You Events in 2010, after 7 years in the nonprofit industry. Loving the special details and relational aspect that went into the many non-profit events she planned, she decided to branch out to weddings and other special events. Along with great attention to detail, Gina brings a calming professionalism to the planning process for her clients. She loves out of the box ideas, finding unique ways to bring a client’s vision to life, and having as much fun as possible along the way.
A native of Indiana, Gina lived in the beautiful state of Colorado for 11 years and took advantage of every moment. She and her family embarked on a cross country adventure in 2016 to the mountains of North Carolina where they currently reside and happily play outside as much as possible.
Jessica Hendrickson - Lead Planner, COlorado
Jessica was born and raised in the beautiful state of Colorado! She joined Organically You Events in early 2011. Prior to wedding planning, Jessica spent 5 years in the high end interior design world and always thought she would like to enter the world of special events. Jessica has a fabulous eye for the esthetics and the ability to not only see others vision, but to bring that vision to life. After years of experience with Gina, Jessica, has not only taking on Gina's attention to details, but has also brought along her own special flare for helping achieve your ultimate vision for your big day. She has a disarming calmness that allows her couples to relax and know they are in great hands. With over 20 years in the hospitality and service industry, Jessica takes pride in her customer service skills and her ability to get any job done.
Annelise Fry - Lead Planer, CO and NC
Annelise Fry joined our team as an intern in 2013. Enthusiastic about learning the ins and outs of wedding and event planning, she hit the floor running. With her calm presence, attention to detail, and joyful personality, she was a fit from the beginning. What she enjoys most is the energy and excitement that comes from each event and seeing all the hard work come to fruition. Annelise was born and raised in Denver, CO. She recently packed up her fiancé, 2 cats and 2 dogs for a new adventure in the beautiful Atlanta, GA!
